Anna studied Social and Cultural Anthropology in Vienna and Paris. Her research interests lie at the intersection of political anthropology and kinship studies. She is currently working on a project about care practices, diversity and expertise in nursing homes in Switzerland (funded by the Swiss National Fund). Her dissertation analyses the construction of belonging and difference in public childcare institutions (kindergartens) in Vienna (Austria).
